Off-Campus Access
Off-Campus Access Tutorial
Current KCMA students, faculty, and staff are able to access library resources from off-campus
through a commercial Internet Service Provider after being properly authenticated. Authentication allows the service being accessed to recognize you as a legitimate user.
Most of the library resources have an off-campus access link that will allow you to properly authenticate at the point of use.
There are also two ways to get authenticated for off-campus access prior to selecting a resource:
Option 1: Log onto the KCMA Proxy Server to access both OhioLINK and KCMA resources
- Connection to your Internet Services Provider.
- Bring up your Web browser.
- Access the KCMA Proxy Server.
- Enter your login and password.
- Students: login: KC0 plus last five digits of student number;
password: last five digits of your student ID# followed by the last for digits of your SSN
- Facutly: use your campus network login and password
- For more information, access the Directions for Accessing the Proxy Server.
- The following resources can only be accessed off-campus through the KCMA Proxy Server
- The Cochrane Library
- Proquest Nursing Journals
- Medical Media Systems
- Ulrichsweb
- KCMA Online Journals
